The merger of Suomen Voima Oy and Etelä-Suomen Voima Oy was registered on 1.11.2019. Since then, operations have been conducted under the name Etelä-Suomen Voima and with the business identity code 1000864-7.

As a final step of the merger procedure, on 11.11.2019 in an extraordinary general meeting of the merged company, it was decided that the name of the merged company will be changed to Suomen Voima Oy in the beginning of 2020.

According to the decision of the general meeting, the new name of the merged company has been changed to Suomen Voima Oy on 15.1.2020. Etelä-Suomen Voima Oy will continue to serve as a supplementary business name for Suomen Voima Oy.
