Suomen Voima strengthens its organisation by recruiting Jannika Harries as Legal Counsel and Toni Hannula as Project Manager. Jannika Harries started her new position in August and Toni will start on the 1st of December this year.
Prior to Suomen Voima, Jannika worked at one of Finland’s leading law firms, Roschier Attorneys Ltd., as an Associate lawyer where her main focus was on real estate, environmental as well as contract and company law related matters. Jannika has also trained at the Bench at the District Court of Länsi-Uusimaa. She has a Master of Laws degree from the University of Turku from where she graduated in 2016. “I am beyond excited to be a part of Suomen Voima’s team and look forward to all the new challenges this position and the ever-changing energy sector will throw my way” says Jannika, when asked about her new position at Suomen Voima.
For the past 8 years, Toni has been working in several different key company positions at Etelä-Savon Energia concern, one of Suomen Voima’s shareholder companies. Last two years, he worked at Huippuenergia, a ESE spinoff company, as an operation manager. Huippuenergia developed Foremica energy managment system and related various energy market services during 2020-2022. Prior to Etelä-Savon Energia, he worked 7 years at ABB. He holds a Master of Engineering degree from Electric power engineering and Bachelor of Engineering degree from electrical and automation. ”Suomen Voima offers an interesting environment in the energy transition and it is absolutely amazing to be able to implement a new system with this team”, says Toni, when asked about his new position at Suomen Voima.
